Grow For Canajoharie
How You Can Be Part of The Canajoharie Growth Project
About The Grow For Canajoharie Project
The Canajoharie Land, or "Nirmal Nagari" has been a part of our Sahaj family for more than 20 years, yet, with the focus on other development projects on the property, there have been only a few attempts at using the land agriculturally. That is about to change.

Over the next few years, we envision expanding use of the land in small steps to enable the creation of agricultural projects that are aimed to make the Canajoharie Land self-sustained, and ultimately, projects that use the land to create produce and goods that can enable the continued growth of the land, and of Sahaj projects as a whole.

2018 Project:
In preparation for Shri Krishna Puja, a collective low-maintenance vegetable, fruit and flower garden is being prepared. This project is meant to be a one-year project which has the potential to become a recurring and expanded project.
The mission of this and all Canajoharie Grow Projects are:
1- to begin to utilize the Canajoharie land for agricultural use, as a beginning/teaser of hopeful future agricultural use in the future
2- to bring the National, regional, and worldwide collective attention on Canajoharie as a land which is vibrant, being developed, and progressing in line with Mother’s Vision.
3- to unite the Sahaj collective in a feasible collective way for a hands-on agricultural project
4- to offer a small window into the Sahaj approach to agriculture, and collective agricultural potential for the local, national, and international collective
5- To fulfill Shri Mataji’s vision for Canajoharie and in terms of our use of Agriculture.
“With Sahaja Yoga you can nourish crops; you can nourish your animals. In science you cannot do. You have to play into the hands of organizations who produce seeds for you, hybrid seeds. In Sahaja Yoga none hybrid seeds can be vibrated, and you can get much more crops than you get from these hybrid seeds. Then we eat those hybrid seeds, hybrid animals, and our attention also becomes hybrid. We are no more natural then.”

“It was really a wonderful idea to put my attention to all these fields of life which are very important and, as it is, I have attention on all of them and I care for all that. But I would say now you all people put in your attention to it, because it is you who can do something about it. You can start with the nature as they said is this: we have to be kind to the nature. We are having such problems. People are cutting out trees, doing all kinds of things, without even thinking that this is for the progeny [and] will become a desert. So, in the same way, for everything, for your fruits and agriculture, vibrations can really change it.”
